Ray Dalio mentioned 6 principles for getting what you want in life, but who is even Ray Dalio?

: Raymond Thomas Dalio is an American billionaire hedge fund manager and philanthropist who has served as co-chief investment officer of the world's largest hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates since 1985. He founded Bridgewater in 1975 in New York. Wikipedia

Dalio is the author of the 2017 book Principles: Life & Work, about corporate management and investment philosophy. It was featured on The New York Times bestseller list, where it was called a "gospel of radical transparency

So after you knew Ray Dalio, let's jump to the 6 principles he gave us:

1)Have Clear Goals:

Successful people always mention goals before everything, because if you don't know exactly what you want to achieve, you'd never do so!

So make sure you write down your goals clearly enough and have definite ones, even write what exactly makes you want to achieve this goal, and describe everything you're feeling toward your goal, like talk about your goals with yourself on a piece of paper, Trust me with this one because it has personally changed my life.

2) Identify and don't tolerate problems that stand in the way of you achieving those goals:

Imagine that you are a football player, a professional one, but you have a very bad habit, and it's smoking.

Now smoking is constantly stopping you from being a better player, from staying in the field more time, smoking to you is like an obstacle.

This kind of problem, you can't tolerate, because it's standing between you and your goals you have to URGENTLY remove it from your way.

I want you to apply this example to everything (spending much-wanting to be rich) (smoking-being an athlete) (Procrastination-being successful) and so on and so on.

Don't tolerate these problems!

3)Accurately diagnose problems to get at their root causes:

We often link different causes to a problem, like for example we might think that our employer doesn't like me so he is not promoting me, while I'm all time procrastinating at work and not being efficient enough!

So if I thought that way, I might try to get the employer to like me, while this isn't even the cause, can you get what I'm trying to say? You're walking in the opposite direction to the solution!

4)Design plans that will get you around them:

After you've set clear goals, removed what is stopping you, accurately diagnosed your problems, it's time now to create plans that should get you around your dreams.

This is one of the most important tips because planing is a real thing, it's the gap between your dreams and what will actually happen, a clear plan and a realistic one is what you desperately need at this point.

5)Do what's necessary to push these designs through to results:

(ex:) This plan I just put, was for weight loss, so it's necessary to exercise every day to achieve this goal and execute on the plan, this pushes through to my desired results.

6)Do these things with the input of people who might see what you might be missing:

While doing these great moves, you might meet someone who used to be your friends and he says to you: "It's been along since I saw you at the club" , and this might make you feel that you're missing something, but you are actually not because this same person you met wishes he could do what you are doing instead of going to the club every day.

So people might make you feel like you're missing much, but if you're on your way achieving your daily targets and small goals, trust me you aren't missing anything.

I hope that you could put these principles to action, and execute them, and I really wish you a great successful life.
